This Fall, we’ll be hosting 8 weeks of comedy, classes, and community at the Alliance Theater black box. Get ready to laugh and learn as we spread the love, featuring local improvisational groups and performers. Classes and shows will be held every Tuesday through Saturday, with special line-ups, guests, and community jams in store. It’s an improv party for all of Salt Lake County!


Want to play? Send us your group! All improv teams and performers are invited to be a part of this special run of shows. Submissions are FREE and open now. Send in as many ideas as you like with no application fee. Shows can range from 30 to 90 minutes in length and groups can apply to perform in up to 8 shows!

Live at the Murray Theater! 

Co-presented with the historic and newly renovated Murray Theater, Improv Salt Lake presents an evening of improvised comedy and musical mayhem with scenes, stories, and songs inspired by audience suggestions. Each show is unique, family friendly, and full of fun, featuring the talent of local and regional performers. This is a night of community and comedy to keep on your calendar, happening LIVE on the last Tuesday of each month!

A big night of FUNKIN' JOY!
We are here to CELEBRATE live improv and the AUDIENCE that helps make it happen.  Get ready for a night of FUN, WHIMSY, LAUGHTER, FOOLERY, and EVERYTHING else.  This show involves audience participation and improv actors being ridiculously goofy!
