Improv Fundamentals
Improv Fundamentals is a great way hone your improv skills. Whether you are trying improv for the first time or working on honing your skills this class is for you. This class will give you the basics and comfort to explore new ideas through games and warmups. There will be a class showcase performance at the conclusion of the 7-week course. (Specific date/time TBD).
All experience levels welcome.

Tom Shannon - Instructor
Tom has been studying and performing unscripted theater since 2000. A graduate of the conservatory programs at IO (ImprovOlympic) West, Second City Los Angeles, and bang. Comedy Theatre, he also studied improv techniques for scripted material at the Stephen Book Acting Workshop, and spent 10 days with legendary improv coach, Keith Johnstone. Tom is a founding member of the teams COMRADE!, Hot Toddy, and Park City Improv, and starting in 2010 ran a weekly drop-in class in Los Angeles before moving to Salt Lake, where he runs a monthly drop-in class! As a member of the Applied Improvisation Network since 2014, Tom coaches businesses and groups to collaborate and communicate better. Tom believes everything you do can inform your improv and improv can inform everything you do.
