At the Alliance
Improv Salt Lake takes over the Alliance Theater at Trolley Square to bring you a hilarious night of improvised theatre and comedy. Tonight, we present, “The Long and the Short of It” – a comedy show featuring short-form and long-form improv, featuring TBD Improv and other special guests. This unique night of comedy will make you laugh out loud so bring all your friends. Donations will benefit the Adopt-a-Native-Elder program.
Since 1984, Adopt-A-Native-Elder (A.N.E.) has served traditional Navajo Elders with a single goal: to allow the Elders to age with dignity in their traditional way on their ancestral homelands. Through 40 years of serving the Navajo Elders. A.N.E. has become a trusted humanitarian organization focused on reducing the extreme hardship facing traditional Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. Today, A.N.E. serves more than 860 traditional Navajo Elders over the age of 75. Key programming includes twice-a-year, volunteer-led Food Runs to deliver critical support directly to Elders in need. The majority of the Elders served by Adopt-A-Native-Elder are in their 80’s and 90’s and represent the last generation of traditional Indigenous people in the United States.
