Alliance Residency
Get ready to laugh and learn this Fall during Improv Salt Lake's 8-week stay at the Alliance Theater. That's two months of shows, classes, and workshops featuring local improvisational groups and performers. Events will be held Tuesday through Saturday, with special line-ups, guests, and community jams in store.
With 34 shows, 3 classes, and 3 workshops planned out, there's plenty to do! To get reminders, you can follow our Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Saturday Late Night events on Facebook. We'll also be doing regular posts on Instagram each week to highlight the performing teams.

Venue & Parking
All shows, workshops, and classes will take place at the Alliance Theater, located at the southwest corner of Trolley Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. Specifically, events will be held in the black box performance space, which is on the south side of the building—if you enter and see a bar and a large performance room, turn left and head through the double doors to find us. The entrance to the Alliance Theater is on the east side and is ADA accessible. Assistive listening devices are available for all events upon request.

Parking is FREE and located in the underground parking lot directly below Trolley Square—entrance is on the west side along 600 East. Additional streetside parking is available on 600 East, or in the overflow parking lot on the south side of 600 South.
For travelers heading northbound on I-15, the best exit to take is 600 S, Exit 306. For southbound travelers, your best option is 400 S, Exit 307 and then hopping over to 600 S, which is a one-way street that will take you directly to the theater. For Trax commuters, the Red Line Trolley Station will put you two blocks north of the venue.
