Giving and Taking Focus

In this introductory improv workshop, we will practice giving and taking focus in improv scenes. Just like in conversation, good scenes require a balance of listening and speaking from everyone. Through warm-ups, status play, and short scenes, we’ll practice what it means to give focus to your scene partner and to take focus, building scenes in which everyone gives gifts and makes their scene partner look good. It’ll be a blast!
